The year 2022 marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Mexico. In celebration of this occasion, the Mexican Embassy in China and the BFPA co-present the "¡Viva México!" concert series, to showcase Mexico's most famous and representative symphonic works by its foremost composers.

The pieces in this series are well selected with unique Mexican characteristics: "Golden Porcelain", a special commission, is Mexican Embassy's present for China; “Li Po”, inspired by a modern poem written by Mexican poet José Juan Tablada Acuña about the lifestory of the famous Chinese poet Li Bai (Li Po), is presented with a specially made animation, reaching a perfect interaction between poetry and music.
